The Council of the City of Kuching South is responsible for providing the best of local authority services to satisfy the needs and expectations of the community through the implementation of ISO 9001:2008 requirements as follows:-

To achieve the above objective, MBKS shall:

• Inculcating the culture of effective quality management system from top management to the lowest rank of the organisation.
  
• Continually improve the quality management system of the Council by identifying the weak areas and carrying out the improvement programmes.
• Head of Division within the scope of certification shall be committed to monitor and review the actual performance of the quality objectives.
