health service, vector and pest control, public hygiene,
sanitation and pollution control.

- Traffic system management and control.
- Drainage construction and maintenance.
- Sewerage services.
- Urban beautification and landscaping.
- Licencing and Enforcement of council's By-Laws.
- Valuation of Rateable Holding and Collection of Assessment Rates.
- Participation in public celebrations and development.
- Provision and maintenance of markets & public toilets.
- Provision and maintenence of sports and recreational amenities such as parks, siwimming pools, multi purpose halls, stalls, sports complexes, stadiums, and children's playgrounds.
- Provision and maintenance of public car parks.
